According to TMZ, the private judge they hired “dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s” and the final documents were submitted to the L.A. County Superior Court judge last week.
Ben and Jen will reportedly share joint custody of their 3 kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6. as well as meet up with a coparenting therapist once a month for the next 6 months. They will be splitting their property as they did not have a prenup, but it all seems to be very amicable.
Ben has been in and out of rehab, most recently in August. In October, he released a statement via his Instagram page, thanking his loved ones for their support.
“This week I completed a 40-day stay at a treatment center for alcohol addiction and remain in outpatient care. The support I have received from my family, colleagues and fans means more to me than I can say. It’s given me the strength and support to speak about my illness with others. Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle. Because of that, one is never really in or out of treatment. It is a full-time commitment. I am fighting for myself and my family.”
