LeAnn Rimes gave an interview to Shape magazine and talked about cheating on her ex-husband, Dean Sheremet, and finding love with her manstress and now-husband, actor Eddie Cibrian. “I understand why people are disappointed in me, especially since I grew up as America’s sweetheart. I think any relationship is hard to get out of, and I don’t think the way I did it was right,” she told the magazine.
“It’s all very sloppy,” Williams apparently said in response to the magazine feature, according to Huffington Post. The talk show queen also criticized Rimes for referring to Cibrian’s two sons from his previous marriage as her “boys.”
“The boys have a mother, and her name is Brandi [Glanville],” Williams reportedly stated.
After the show aired, Rimes sounded off in a since-deleted tweet. “All I know is Wendy Williams done pissed my mamma off! I don’t wanna be in her path…To say, ‘I’ve reserved myself a place in hell?!’ I’m incredibly disappointed to see someone with that kind of platform use it for such negativity and could be so mean and judgmental about a situation they know nothing about.” Say what?!
Mamma obviously fed Rimes some misinformation because Williams never mentioned the country songstress and “hell” in the same sentence. It was in fact television personality Sunny Hostin that had banished Rimes to purgatory. The singer later apologized but never addressed Williams calling her affair a “sloppy” situation.
