Promoters Prepare To Sue Tekashi 6ix9ine For $500,000 For Canceling Show

could be hit with another hefty lawsuit behind bars after he backed out of a concert at the last minute.

Back in October 6ix9ine reportedly pulled out of a concert at the last minute, which cost the promoters, Hits Before Fame & DMV Events, about $300,000 in refunds to over 3,000 fans who paid to see the rapper perform at Howard University’s Homecoming weekend.

6ix9ine changed his mind just 35 minutes before doors opened at the venue in Washington, D.C. According to TMZ, the promoters are now threatening the detained rapper with legal action.

The promoters are now claiming they’re owed $500,000 in damages for the no-show. And although he was a no-show to the Howard event, the “FEFE” rapper turned up to perform at another event in Jersey on the same night.

The new threats of legal action are a drop in the bucket for 6ix9ine right now, who may have to sit in prison until Sept. 2019. His former booking agency is trying to claw back over $800,000 from his account and two strippers who are alleging that he got them both pregnant also want him to cough up the cash.
