Teen Killed By Abusive Ex After Reporting Him to Police 5 Times

Police at the London’s Metropolitan Station are being investigated for potential misconduct after a 17-year-old-girl was killed by her abusive ex-boyfriend, despite reporting him to the police five times before her killing.

Police say that Katerina Makunova, 17, was killed by 21-year-old Oluwaseyi Dada in Camberwell, south London, on 12 July of 2018.

Katerina was visiting Oluwaseyi at his apartment in order to retrieve a mobile phone he had taken from her. Police believe that Katerina was involved in a struggle with Oluwaseyi  and fell onto a knife she’d concealed in her handbag.

Oluwaseyi pled guilty to manslaughter at Southwark Crown Court last week, and is currently awaiting sentencing. He is only expected to get anywhere from 2-5 years, under UK law.

Katerina was 15 when she met Oluwaseyi on Instagram. Her father claims that she called the police on Oluwaseyi five times between February and June 2018, to report assault and harassment.

Katerina’s phone and social media history, paints a terrible picture of what she endured.

Oluwaseyi reportedly once threw Makunova out of his apartment naked, paid a friend to stalk her to see what she was doing, and sent pictures of her asleep in her underwear to other men.

Katerina’s dad claims that he also found a picture on his daughter’s phone of her bruised face after Oluwaseyi allegedly attacked her.

And on the day that Oluwaseyi killed her, he sent her ominous messages, which suggest that her killing may have been a murder.

Oluwaseyi said: “If u f*ck about with a man mark my words all your family are [in serious trouble].”
